After many years of dial-up I have finally returned to the 21st Century....Yay....although I appear to be in a similar but somehow not quite right alternate reality.

 

Those lovely people at BT have finally sent me a hub and I've also had an early new years visit from the connection fairies....cool....I now have TWO broadband connections....my new BT one and a soon to be defunct but already nearly useless Orange one....

 

Anyway, I'm back ......and now I'm off to get really, really drunk.

I hope I'm wrong but I strongly suspect that my broadband connection may be down in the next few days. If this is the case then hopefully it won't be off for long and, when I return, it will be with a faster connection and a more reliable provider.

 

If the worst does happen, then I won't be able to get online to let you all know, hence this post.

 

I'd also better take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year just in case it takes me longer to sort things out than anticipated. I hope Santa fills all your stockings with exactly what you've asked for.

 

Hopefully this message will not be needed and my connection will remain intact but you never know with BT and L'Orange....

 

....as I write this my connection is on and off like a whores drawers so....fingers crossed, lol.
